  The walk to the top of Blátindur is absolutely stunning. It takes a bit of effort, but it's worth it for those jaw-dropping views alone. The track is not marked, there are some very steep sections and you have to be prepared to crawl on hands and feet on rocky paths.   És el cim d'un cràter, des d'allà hi ha una vista impressionant de l'illa i dels illots al voltant. L'ascensió és curta però molt dreta. La part final, per sobre la carena és difícil i perillosa. S'ha d'anar amb compte amb el vent i amb les roques molt tancades que fan el descens complicat. No és adequat si teniu vertigen.
