It's one of those must do things when you start your trip in Reykjavik. It will give you a good feel on how to plan your next few days. Tomas was very charismatic and friendly. Arrived a little late but was all ok as I caught up and signed in. Do book online for them to be expecting you. The tips were generally very useful and nothing pushy or trying to take you to a tourist trap.

A must do tour in Reykjavik. Our guide Jo was awesome! We learned a lot of history and interesting/funny stories of Reykjavik. A nice 2 hr walk around the city center. Don’t forget to book your slot at the city walk website and be there 10minutes before your tour. Tips/donations are welcomed in any currency and even credit card so don’t be shy to reward the fantastic guide of a great city tour.

Tomas was amazing!! He was so informative and had great comedic timing. My face hurt from smiling. He was also super cute. I'd do him. I also learned so much about Reykjavik and felt really well-oriented after the walk; I was able to lead us around. It's technically free but you will feel more than happy to give a donation afterwards.

A fantastic tour of Reykjavik from Tomas. He was knowledgeable, funny and generally a great guide. We found out lots of things about Iceland that were very interesting and we are incredibly glad we did this tour. Its advertised as free but it's easily comparable to many UK tours that are costly. We'd strongly recommend this to anyone going to Reykjavik (and would even if it wasn't 'free'). Our biggest concern was that we'd given less money than the tour was worth!
