  Hotel was cosy and comfortable to us and we spent great time in Iceland. Tour was really easy by door to door coach service.I will recommend this tour to my friends as well. Additionally I had lost my credit card during tour but staff members in Iceland Guest and coach company Sterna found it and contact to me. How kind!

  My wife and I took the Iceland Circle Tour, August 13-26, 2014. We made the best choice in selecting Iceland Guest to help us plan our vacation in Iceland. Who would ever imagine a visit to Iceland with its stunning scenery, gushing waterfalls and incredible volcanic rock formations without being in awe? But it was the staff at Iceland Guest that made the 13 days that we drove around the island the best vacation we have ever had. Nicely worded brochures and colorful pictures are one thing, but the personal attention given to us by Fjola and Maria on the staff of Iceland Guest was the linchpin that made this an exceptional trip. Opening up the map and reading the accompanying travel guide spoke mightily about the thorough and accurate work they had done after speaking with us by long-distance phone to learn our preferences. The resulting itinerary was spelled out in very useful detail and obviously many hands were involved at all levels at Iceland Guest.

  In March of 2014, my wife and I booked a self-driving tour through Iceland Guest and it can best be described as the trip of a lifetime. We would recommend the company in general, and our consultant Fjóla in particular, to anyone looking to experience this breathtaking country with relaxed confidence in the itinerary. The planning and booking process was smooth as can be — when we had questions, Fjóla answered them clearly and promptly, and she did a terrific job of tailoring the journey to our individual preferences. Our accommodations included a delightful mix of hotels, guest houses and farms, in locations that left us feeling we had truly experienced Iceland and not just scratched the surface. Obviously, the success and enjoyment of our visit was of great importance to Fjóla and her colleagues. Shortly before the beginning of our trip (originally planned as a 10-day "Iceland Circle Winter" tour of the entire Ring Road), late-winter snows in the northeast of the country were causing unexpected road closures along our planned route. Fjóla had sent us a link to the road commission's website, and we grew uneasy about our ability to circumnavigate the island if the snows continued. So, with roughly a week prior to departure, we asked her to completely revise our itinerary to keep us along the less-snowy southern coast. No worries; it was done in no time, and our drive along the south coast included everything we could have wanted — waterfalls, geysers, glaciers, ice caves, reindeer, seals, wonderful people (all of whom seemed to speak English), great food...and the aurora borealis on two different occasions. For us, late March was the ideal time — lower rates, fewer tourists, brisk but not bitter temperatures, and the perfect balance of daylight and darkness (for spotting the Northern Lights). Of course, if we could we'd go back tomorrow. This much is certain: A return trip to Iceland is inevitable, and when that day comes we'll know who to call.

  Maria and I traveled to Iceland in June of 2014 using Iceland Guest for our travel services. Iceland Guest was an excellent planning partner guaranteeing us an extremely well organized and smoothly orchestrated vacation. Fjola, our patient, cordial and well informed travel consultant answered our very numerous inquiries in an expedient and professional manner.   Hi Maria sorry - a bit belated, but massive thank you to you and your colleagues for arranging our trip. we really loved your beautiful country, unspoiled nature and stunning views. shame we had so little time to explore. we will definitely be coming back in the future. thank you very much for arranging the accommodation and transport, for keeping us informed during the trip about the volcano, we also are very happy with your service and your response, with the papers/maps/information you sent us. by the way at one of the guest houses we met an Italian couple who also came to Iceland via you - they also were very happy. we will definitely recommend Nordic Visitor to anyone we know planning to visit Iceland. all the best
