A cute little coffee shop that also serves some burgers and hot food. In the second half you can see the cows and sit with them as your view through the windows. The food is good and the waffles are a must try.

This was a wonderful cafe near our guesthouse. I spent many mornings here catching up on work from the office before adventuring into the country. Their staff is very friendly, the lady/owner working at the register speaks perfect English, and I absolutely recommend that you stop by. Wonderful place. :D

Staff friendly. Cute cozy and quiet. Locals seem to congregate here. Unique cup style with bands to keep your hands from getting burnt! Double latte (super creamy and delicious!!) and hot chocolate cookie (crunchier outside with soft inside and literally tastes like hot chocolate!!!)

Breakfast for two, one of which was the Viking bfast which brings... a little of everything. The ample serving of bacon in both dishes was appreciated... they didn't skimp!... And it was smoky and delicious. The coffee, with free refills, was excellent as well. The baked beans could have used some help, but overall great place, great food, very friendly staff.

The food was excellent. We had the pickled herring plate, a trout bagel, a cappuccino and a beer (large draft) and we were both very happy with our lunch on the patio area (it has heaters making it very comfortable). The restaurant is a bit higher than the rest of the street, which makes it a good place to stay and watch the crowds moving. It was a bit pricey per American standards, but what is not in Iceland? On the day of our visit the staff must have been overwhelmed since no one came to clean up the table after the previous guests left. I brought everything in after waiting 15 minutes and the rest of our experience was perfect.
