  Very good service... We were running late and they extended their hours for us... best pizza in Iceland... must try... and the garlic bread is totally awesome... the price is very reasonable too...

  Friendly staff & delicious pizzas, the kids love them!! Skemmtilegt hús með torfþaki og franskir gluggar. Vatnsveituturn á hól bakvið veitingastaðnum með tröppur og útsýnisskifu uppá. Tilvalið að skoða útsýnið yfir borgarnesið, fjörðinn og Hafnarfjallið á meðan það er verið að baka pizzurnar!

  Having visited Italy a few times in my life, and for a total of many weeks, one of the things we enjoyed, among other things, was the thin, crispy pizza from wood-fired ovens that Italy is known for. Guess what? Italy has come to Iceland. Well, sort of. :) La Colina is one of the newer restaurants in our beautiful Borgarnes. I first went there a few days after they opened in 2016 to get a copy of their menu to put in our B&B, and the smell was fantastic. We finally got the time to try it out a few days later, and we were not disappointed. Their wood-fired oven is up to the task of making thin, crispy pizzas, and the staff knows how to use it. Very friendly staff all around. The place was almost full, and although we carried out, there were a couple of tables available, so waiting would have been minimal, if at all. There is an area outside which can accommodate many diners. Weather permitting, of course. This is still Iceland after all. ;) They had at least three staff waiting on tables and handling take away orders, and that is fantastic for Iceland. They close at 21:00 (9 PM), and that might be a bit early for some visitors. Maybe they will extend that 1-2 hours, especially on weekends.

  Við vorum 7 kerlingar sorry flottar konur fr´22 -72 ára ja ég 60 ára í dag sem ákváðum að fá okkur pizzu hér og við vorum allar ánægðar...Og ég er mjög sérvitur á pizzur...Borðuðum margar tegundir og allar fá fullt hús stiga allavega frá mér en held líka hinum því við átum á okkur mörg göt ;-) En fyrir mér er það þunnur stökkur en samt líka mjúkur botn sem gerir pizzu góða.. svo er bara áleggið sem setur punktinn yfir i-ið..Þannig takk æðislega fyrir okkur .Ég á eftir að koma aftur...og aftur..og benda öðrum á staðinn..
