  We just returned from a week in Iceland and stayed at The Ocean Comfort Appts in Reykjavik. From the secure and easy checkin upon arrival we were impressed! The spacious apartment was clean, well appointed and centered among everything you'd want to see and do. The bed was very comfortable and the black out drape was just what was needed in the middle of June. Bed was made daily and towels changed, free laundry and detergent was downstairs in laundry room. The kitchen was spacious and had everything you might have at home including salt, pepper, spices, coffee, sugar and oils for cooking. Iceland is quite pricey so this was a nice touch. A nice large kitchen and dining area as well as a comfortable living room with a large flat screen TV and DVD player. Free wi-fi was accessed easily. The complimentary phone in the room for us to use for local calls and the adapter for the electrical outlets were significant extras. The staff was always helpful and addressed any needs immediately..the only thing I would have liked was extra pillows but I didn't ask, I'm sure they would have been up to my room pronto if I had! I have seen other rooms in the area..from hotels to other apartments and all were smaller, older and pricier..I will be back but only if I can get Ocean Comfort Appts!!
