::Visited a year ago and we ended up going twice. The first was on a Thurs night where there was a bouncer and a line to get in. This is definitely where a lot of locals went for a "night out". We weren't dressed entirely in hiking gear and weren't denied entry...but we definitely felt out of place. If you have traveled around Reykjavik's bar/restaurant scene enough you'll notice Icelanders dress really well. Keep that in mind if you go on a busy night. My recommendation: go early when they open to just check out the bar, no wait in line, and try out their quirky cocktail menu. They are creative and very good. Yes expensive...but what isn't in Iceland?

::Tourist trap destination with crazy decor and decent cocktails. If you're in Reykjavik you have to stop in for at least one drink to say you've been there.

::Very rude guy at the door who said "we only allow people who wear fancy clothes not people coming from the mountains" The only Latino bar in the world that doesn't let Latinos in because they are wearing winter clothes in a country where the temperatures are below 0 degrees and they come from the Caribbean so they cannot take the cold like the locals... Very disappointing and unwelcoming attitude.
