  The visitor centre offers a surprising amount of interesting information and, honestly, an inspiring view of renewable energy sources.

  Just turning off the road to see the waterfall. ext to the dam, a whole different world opened up! A view inside the turbine house! Pump till you drop to power an electric water kettle ... for 3 seconds, pushing a granite wall ... and sounds and light emanate line in 2001 A Space Odyssee. And much more. So worth a visit, specifically -- but not only -- for kids!

  Part of Ljósafossstöò hydroelectric plant, this is a small but informative and very well done exhibition about electricity. Different interesting experiments for kids and grown ups, it offers also free hot beverages.
