  Nice place, always busy, but why are all pizzas like calzones, with most "toppings" inside and just a few on top? Weird!

  Lovely Italian / Pizza restaurant. We ate here on a Thursday night after a day hiking on solheimajokull glacier, we were plenty hungry. It's a quaint restaurant on Reykjavik's main shopping street. There is plenty of choice on the menu and it's priced similarly to most of Reykjavik's town centre restaurants. (Not cheep at about £80 for a meal for two, 1 alcoholic drink each a shared starter and pizza and a pasta main). However the service and food was good, our waitress was friendly, attentive and full of smiles but not hovering over our shoulders. The food was excellent my partner had the cannelloni and I chose the 'unpronounceable volcano' pizza as my main, it was artwork as well as a meal with the toppings concealed inside the base that was more calzone and looked like a volcano! The restaurant was busy but we did not feel hurried or crowded and it was a lovely end to a fabulous day. Highly recommended!

  If you're in Reykjavik you must visit this place. Servers are so welcoming here. The ambience, people, place is full of warmth. The food is super amazing too. It is charmingly old school and beautiful.
