::Ein schöner Fotopunkt und eine fantastische Aussicht über den pingvellir Nationalpark. Man steht hier auf der Nordamerikanischen Tektonischen Platte und kann "herüber sehen" zur Eurasischen Platte. Island bringt hier jedes Jahr 2cm weiter auseinander. Der Park ist sehr beliebt und nur wenige Meter weiter gibt es einen Shop und das Informationscenter.
