  A good hour walk with beautiful view of the town of Grindavík, Reykjanesbær and the Blue Lagoon . Do not walk pass the canyon on the top because it is the most beautiful part of the hike. You can walk through it and then down the southern side of the mountain. Britain and the United States had a radar station on the mountain during the Second World War, and it is still evident where the buildings were. Also there is an information platform with pictures from the station.

  A very good alternativ, if the weather is fine and your friends are in the Blue Lagoon
