  The Gylmur day hike with Trek Iceland was by far the best tour I took while in Iceland. It provided an escape into the Icelandic wilderness with spectacular views everywhere you looked. Our guide was professional, knowledgeable, and provided a wonderful experience. The hike shouldn't be difficult if you are moderately active, and the river crossing was a fun, although very chilly, experience!

  What an amazing company... I sadly lost my father and found out on the trek... they organised everything so I didn't need to worry... bus transfers and hotel accommodation overnight until I could get a flight... they were just wonderful. Special thanks to Ivor who was very considerate and a genuinely lovely person through the whole thing... your kindness meant a lot at such a sad time...
