  My flight got cancelled and rescheduled for three days later which would have put me past my visa expiration date, so I visited the directorate of immigration and couldn’t be more happy! The staff there were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I was in and out within less than an hour with a new visa extended after I was able to provide proper documentations. Thank you! This is one of the reasons I love Iceland. People are awesome!

  It is surprising to find that for every call that is put through to the visa agents, different information is being provided and at times, the advice given even contradicts the ones on the website itself. I was only told that the information is inaccurate upon submission. Long story short, it was an incredibly frustrating experience from start 'till finish. Upon speaking to the desk lady, I was personally asked to submit a complaint via email (might I add, they have not even acknowledged the first email I've sent) and of course, the problem has yet to be resolved.

  I am undecided how to give the correct answer for their rude behaviour especially when they realise that they scrued up the oficial document and act like nothing happened, oh by the way that piece of paper it cost us so much money to get it that most probably I will never do it or get it again if they will request it! Should I also mention that they never answer to any calls or they pretend they know what they are talking about?
