    Abysmal. Yet another one of these airlines that does everything they can to mislead you during booking, to screw you over at the gate when your bag is bigger than practically every other airline accepts as standard hand luggage. Of course the website does it's best to obscure this fact through numerous screens offering you various 'special offers' but yet can't even seat me with my partner when made the booking for two. And then pulling a £70 charge on me at the gate for my bag. Please, just boycott this company. It's not a reflection on Icelandic people (who are amazing) or the country (equally amazing). Fly with Easyjet if you're travelling from elsewhere in Europe & hopefully over time this company & it's like will collapse.

    The WOW employees at the KEF airport are rude and lazy. We met a few other people who told us their experience with this airline at this airport was terrible, and we thought they were exaggerating, but they were not. Two WOW employees prevented us from going to the counter to check in (where four other employees sat doing nothing) and directed us to the very busy self-service check in. Then no fewer than five employees blocked the way into baggage drop joking around and playing on their phones. They were very rude when they finally asked us for our boarding passes and when our bag got stuck. I will fly with WOW again because of the prices but never out of this airport because of the terrible staff. It’s like they hire all of the applicants that were unable to get a job at another airline.

    EVERYTHING COMES WITH A PRICE. I really should have read up on this place before booking. The only WOW I got was when they said a blanket in their freezing plane was gonna cost 18 dollars lol they charge for water and anything else you can think of. No in flight entertainment or meal and even the seats are small! Iceland has issues with customer service everywhere besides the excursions.

    I would like to first start off by saying that the in flight experience was comfortable and polite. The flight was smooth and the attendants were very nice. This new airline offers cheap flights from the states to Europe. Like most budget airlines, you pay for everything. Carry-on and checked bags, food and soda, and even water. Even then, you will save hundreds of dollars with this airline. The reason I am giving it one star is for the way my girlfriend and I were treated on my flight to the UK from San Francisco. We booked the flights with WOW six months out and planned a week in London and Paris. Once we arrived to the airport we printed our boarding passes and headed to the gate. About 30 minutes before our flight we went to collect our bad tags and have our passports checked. The gate attendants told us told us our tickets didn't match the names on our passports exactly and we would not be allowed to board. Our middle names were on our passports but not the boarding passes. As you can imagine, this caused a panic. However, since I booked through Orbitz, the gate attendants told us it wasn't our problem and that we had to figure it out ourselves if we wanted to board. I had in front of me, a printed itinerary with our full names on it, but they didn't care. I called WOW customer service and they said the same thing. I called Orbitz and they resolved the issue for us. The whole thing gave us a ton of anxiety and it was humiliating that we were the last to board. The whole issue was ridiculous, I really felt sick and still do thinking about it. We reported the issue to WOW later on, they gave us a sad excuse for an apology and said have a nice day. I've never had such a terrible experience in my life.

    The airline that puts customers last. We were delayed by 1.5 hours because of lack of enough jet fuel on the first leg between Amsterdam and Iceland. In Boston we had to wait for an additional 45 minutes for our luggage because freight was more important then customers baggage. Never fly this airlines!!! They charge for everything including water on the flight.
