::They sent our car to the wrong airport, for the wrong time. After an hour of trying to sort out their mess, suddenly an identical car magically appeared. When we returned the car to the point we were told to, we were met by a man with a TERRIBLE attitude. He slammed the sat nav on the desk as we left because he wasn't happy with where we left the car, even though it's where we were told to leave it. Unbelievably rude! Bad customer service and extra charges when you arrive!!! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!

::Conseil aux voyageurs, si vous devez louer un véhicule, évitez absolument l'agence Avis Budget de l'aéroport de Keflavik, dont les pratiques sont détestables. Ils vous proposent de compléter le plein pour vous au retour pour ne pas avoir à vous en préoccuper, sans surcout. Et vous facturent en réalité la totalité d'un plein alors qu'il ne manquait qu'un quart de carburant à la restitution du véhicule. Multiplié par le nombre de locations, vous imaginez le bénéfice que se fait Avis avec cette pratique ! Très mauvaise expérience, à éviter si vous le pouvez. Et si vous ne pouvez louer ailleurs, remplissez le réservoir vous même au retour pour ne pas vous faire escroquer !

::Avis Reykjavík, Iceland you rock. Even though it was a long line, there were many agents serving customers and it was a smooth pickup experience. Got a FREE upgrade from a compact manual to a 4x4 manual truck that can go on the F-roads and Highlands. Yes, you up sold me on the additional insurance for the paint (for sand and ash storms) for $18/day, but I didn't know what to expect and was happy with the free upgrade. Turns out where we went in the golden circle, there wasn't much danger apart from strong winds. Make you budget an extra 30-45 mins extra for the drop-off as it is not at the airport and requires a shuttle ride. The drop-off agent even took us to the airport in a private SUV because we had baby gear with us. The payment receipt was sent swiftly by email and no unexpected charges were incurred.

::Edgar I won't be able say enough about this guy. We had an issued with our car rental reserve action. It look hour and agent from other country to resolve the issue. Thanks to Edgar he had the patience and know how to resolve my issue. I have total satisfactions of result.
