  A fantastic hotel. It has a kitchenette. We stayed in room 404, which had a spectacular view of mountains and a lake. WOW! There is a community pantry downstairs where people have left food for future guests. We contributed to this as well, since we also didn't need all our groceries. Please stay here.

  Stayed here in the middle of winter but it was still an incredible experience. We got room 604 and the view was breathtaking. Despite the cold and only 6 hours of sunlight per day, we had a really rewarding stay here, cuddled up drinking hot chocolate with the heaters running and looking out the window. The laundry service was a life-saver and the close proximity to grocery/bakery/pharmacy made the trip easier as well. Short drive to downtown Reykjavik, the staff is very helpful with recommendations. I had a chance to meet the owner and she is very charming and friendly. They allowed me to check in quite early, so if your flight is arriving early in the morning, perhaps call ahead to request this because there will most likely be nowhere to go and wait for check-in time. Overall, highly recommended. If you are staying near Reykjavik, stay here.

  Excellent location near highways and spectacular views far beyond the Elliðavatn lake. Quickly on the big road no 41 to downtown Reykjavik. Erinomainen sijainti pääteiden läheisyydessä ja loistava näköala Elliðavatn järven yli vuoristoon. Reykjavikin vanhaan keskustaan Harpa musiikkitalolle pääsee lähellä olevaa tietä no 41 parissa kymmenessä minuutissa.
