  Comfortable pub on the edge of Reykjavik, worth stopping in to relax after visiting the Whale Museum. Fabulous range of beers, good available and live music events. Highly recommended.

  The Bryggjan Brugghús is a great venue, and our hostess Candy was amazing. She led us through the tasting, then spent a good amount of time just sitting and chatting with us about Icelandic history, culture, and her personal stories/experiences/opinions. The bar has an assortment of great tasting beers that are brewed in-house. If you don't get this deal, the bar does a tour and tasting every day - that being said, you won't get the delicious paired food. Keep in mind a few things: this is tapas being served, so you might need to snack before or after the "tour". You can also order more food at the restaurant. You can also order more beer (note that beer is expensive in Iceland, and the price increases by alcohol content. Make use of "Happy Hour"). Highly recommend this deal.

  Spent New Years Eve here with my friend, we were made to feel very welcome by the staff and spent the evening chatting whilst getting slightly intoxicated! Lovely restaurant and lovely staff. The food looked delicious even though we didn't eat. Staff were very friendly and we had a great evening. Will definitely visit again next time I come to Iceland!

  Mjög góður matur og glæsilegt rustic umhverfi, svo skemmir ekki að hafa þrennskonar bjóra sem eru bruggaður á staðnum!
