  The most awful rental of cars I've used. They do not respond to letters, and if they answer, then with a delay of a week. We got the car with a huge mileage, more than 190.000km. On it was a lot of scratches and dents, the trunk door did not hold and hit me on the head. Seat belts were periodically unfastened during driving. Huge fuel consumption!!! And....what is most terrible - as I discovered later, the parking brake did not work !!! I left the car parked but the parking brake didn't work and vehicle rolled onto my girl !!! The tires were winter and there were no spikes on them. As a result, the whole trip I was afraid for my life. I do not understand how they have not been closed yet! Strictly do not recommend using their services!

  Auto jsme zde měli půjčené na deset dní. Přebírali jsme ho ve tmě, a tak jsme si nevšimli některých škrábanců a dírky v předním skle. Při vrácení auta však nebyl žádný problém. Doporučuji

  Accueil plus que mauvais. Froid et désagréable. Ils ne sont pas content de nous voir. Lors de la remise, l'employé était fâché qu'on est pas remis la voiture dans la rangée du devant, alors que nous n'avions jamais reçu cette information. Nous avons acheté un sens bon pour la voiture car elle avait une odeur très désagréable de nourriture pourrie. Mise à part ça, la voiture allait bien.

  Pros: It's the cheapest ride your going to find in Iceland! For the same price as a super-mini-budget car with other companies, CC Rental offers a much bigger vehicle and they include a lot of insurance as standard, where everywhere else it's extra (and a lot)! Unlimited mileage too. Cons: Your getting a pretty old car! A bit smelly inside. Pretty scratched up and a bit rusty outside. Wipers were pretty useless. CV joints are close to disintegrating and the clutch is not far behind... The spare tyre was flat and we had to get it fixed (CC Rental reimbursed us) But it happily did 3300km with no issues! Service and staff is well below average too. We asked for a 09:30 pickup and after three phone calls got picked up at 10:45. Staff was indifferent and not helpful at all. Pickup at their office was slow. Staff was absent most of the time with customers walking around trying to find them. If your on a tight budget and feel like a smaller budget car won't do, give CC rental a try. You get what you pay for, but if your on a tight budget, don't mind slow service and your happy driving a "classic" car, then City Car Rental is the one for you!

  We had a bit of an older car with some dents and scratches, but it did drive us around the island without fuss. Friendly people, if a bit hurried in the high season. Maybe we just got lucky but we had a wonderful experience, and they had the best price we could find. Note that you can not drop of your car at the airport, but it is only a 5 minute shuttle ride (complementary) away.
