::Charming place. Comfortable beds, lots of room, private bathroom. Breakfast in a place with huge panoramic windows and a stunning view to mountains across the valley. I recommend this place to anyone.

::Our family of 4, 2 boys aged 9 and 11 and my wife and I used this guesthouse as a base to explore the Myvatn Lake area. The valley this guesthouse is located in is absolutely picturesque. A wild river at the base and surrounded by snowcapped mountains even in late July. Is is nearby Akureyri, Godifoss (a beautiful waterfall), Husavik (and the nearby Puffins), as well as the Myvatn valley. My 11 year old son and I enjoyed a morning hike up the back of the property up to the snow line (July 22nd) and the wonderful view prior to breakfast in the barn. It is a magical place!
