Had a gorgeous room on the ground floor. Really spacious, cosy, tasteful decor & comfy bed. Some noise from the street outside & the fridge in the room made a noise so we unplugged it. The breakfast buffet was great, plenty of choice & the coffee from the machine was really good! Friendly, helpful staff too. All clean & tidy. Would definately stay again!

10 min walk to the centre of Rekyavic. Room was basic but clean and warm. Good breakfast selection.

We stayed here for one night. The rooms are clean but very dated and basic. The bathrooms are very cramped and a strange layout . Reception staff were polite and helpful. I wouldn't want to stay any longer than one night. We stayed in three different hotels, all the same price and this was our least favorite. A make over is required but like I say, it was clean and the staff were good

We stayed here for 6 nights and had a good stay. Excellent location very close to the main part of town, luckily just outside the tour bus exclusion zone which means you can be picked up directly from the hotel, no waiting in the cold at bus stops! The free breakfast was great, better than usual. The room we stayed in was quite tired and bland but was very clean and had all we needed. Unfortunately we could hear howling wind constantly from the door to the room - really odd and when we mentioned this to reception on the first night they blamed it on a storm but even on clear days without much of a breeze we could hear wind. We fixed it ourselves by wedging some card in the door as a buffer, but not ideal. Staff were fine, unfortunately on checking out there was a problem with their system which made us late for our pre-booked airport transfer and the staff member wasn't very apologetic. Overall a fine stay, we weren't in Iceland to spend time in a fancy room after all!
