  We visited this area to see the Northern lights. Although on that evening we only got a glimpse of the lights, this are was lovely to visit. There is a wall that you can stand against and if your feeling brave to sit on and watch the waves come in. The sound of the sea is very soothing on a night. The light house give a it the finishing touch! Well worth a visit while on your Northern lights hunt!

  Lovely views, a bit chilly but what do you expect. Lovely Icelandic beach and great restaurant nearby, apparently a good spot for the northern lights

  Great Place with two beautiful Lighthouses. There's a small friendly cafe in the bottom of it and if you eat or drink there you are allowed to climb on the top.

  Well worth a visit for a look at a very unique lighthouse and a brilliant view over to the south west of Iceland. Can see many geographical landmarks around the Keflavik area. Loads of free parking here and a nice drive on well maintained roads around Gardur and the surrounding towns.
