  Wir haben uns auf den Weg gemacht, weil es uns in einem lokalen Reiseführer als "ein Musst-have" angepriesen wurde. Zunächst war der Park (wobei man kaum von Park reden kann) nicht einfach zu finden und als wir dann endlich den Eingang gefunden haben, war die Ernüchterung mehr als groß. Eintrittsgeld zu verlangen ist für das was dort geboten wurde mehr als eine Frechheit. Wir haben uns entschlossen nicht hineinzugehen und sind stattdessen am Zaun außen herum gegangen, es sah weniger nach Park als nach Müllhalde aus. Ich würde davon abraten und die Zeit lieber mit anderen schönen Dingen, die es auf Island ja haufenweise gibt, füllen.

  Cute place. Not the most spectacular thing ever but the entry fee is small. Boiling the egg was fun!

  Eine gute Idee Island auf kleinem Raum zu erklären. Mehr aber auch nicht.

  It was probably good once but all the springs are dormant now, the information signs are out of date, and nobody tells you so before you pay. They have an artificial steam vent that is on a timer and a small warm stream. Better to walk up the hills nearby and see some active springs for free.

  Stay away! Incredible SCAM. Empty springs (even if there's a dry spell, at least put up a sign), no mud bath, dirty foot bath pond. Garbage heap next to the steam area. Tiny greenhouse. Ridiculous that there is an entrance fee at all. Typical tourist trap.
