::The guys were very helpful, they explained in detail everything about the campervan and also gave driving tips in Iceland. The campervan was our home for 12 days around Iceland. The Campervan is very well equiped with all the cooking and sleeping things we need in our journey. The internal layout is pretty good because you sleep above and can put your things below - I think this kind of layout is perfect because you have sufficient space to put everything you need: your luggage, some food, your shoes, and so on. Our trip was in September 2017, we get temperature close to 0 degrees and the sleeping bag and blanket provided was enough to keep us warm at night. Despite this, a heater was also provided which could be used in very cold weather conditions (the heater needs external electricity, provided in most campsites). We loved to go around Iceland in a Campervan and if we have opportunity to come back to Iceland, we will contact Iceland Mini Campers again!

::Quick summary: Excellent customer service and mini-camper. Highly recommended. We planned to visit Iceland in late August 2017. We enjoy the flexibility of making last-minute changes to our itinerary and were reluctant to make hotel reservations for the Ring Road months in advance to ensure we had lodging during this busy travel time. Friends told us, however, that campgrounds in Iceland did not require advance reservations. We decided to rent a small RV with Iceland Mini Campers (IMC) based on very positive reviews on Trip Advisor. Reserving the vehicle was easily accomplished on-line. Henry from Iceland Mini-campers offered to meet us at any location in the Reykjavik - Keflavik area. Henry thoroughly reviewed the vehicle with us, including how to make up the bed, use the stove and electric heater, and suggestions on how to get the most out of our mini-camper. The vehicle was a late-model vehicle in excellent condition -- clean, low mileage and easy to drive. Equipment included plates, silverware, pot & pan, tea-kettle, wash basin, pillows and sleeping bags. Henry also carefully reviewed the contract with us, and let us know how to contact him 24/7 if we had any problems. We found the mini-camper to be a great way to tour the Ring Road, especially the many small detours away from the more popular tourist destinations. When the wind was blowing the rain sideways outside, we were happy to be snug and warm inside the mini-camper instead of outside in a tent. And when the wind was especially strong while driving, the mini-camper was small enough to drive easily when compared to some of the larger campers we saw on the road that were being blown back and forth across the road. The fuel economy for our mini-camper was terrific, averaging 45 miles per gallon (5 liters/ 100 km). The mini-camper is a comfortable size for two adults. Keep in mind this is a MINI-camper, requiring some care in climbing in and out of the back of a small mini-van. When the weather was pleasant, we stood behind the mini-camper for cooking. When the weather was not cooperating, we could move the bed cushions to the front seats and then sit inside the mini-camper at the small table to prepare our meals and cook. Although we did not rent the optional car-top roof box to store our extra gear, this would have made transitioning from van to sleeper to kitchen a little easier. We picked up free small cardboard boxes at Bonus market that fit perfectly into the floor spaces of the mini-camper; this made general storage and accessing our groceries much easier. Camping in Iceland was a pleasant surprise. All the campgrounds were reasonably priced (about $12 USD per person, or 10 Euros per person), and included flush toilets, hot water in the sinks and hot showers. At the end our our journey, Henry met us at our designated drop-off location at the Keflevik Airport. He was genuinely interested in our adventures and glad we enjoyed our visit to Iceland. We have rented cars and campers in many areas of the world; Iceland Mini-Campers was the very best of them all.

::Iceland Mini Campers was a wonderful experience. The van was our great and save home for 3 weeks all over the island. Apart from the F-streets we could drive very well on every kind of street in Iceland. We had a little problem in the beginning of the trip, but they were incredibly helpful and solved the problem in a few hours. They were always just a phone call away the entire time. The van was comfortable, and the fact that you could sleep just about wherever you parked increased the amount we could see. This tent behind gave us a lot of freedom and their van layout was unique and, in my opinion, much more useful than that of other camper vans in Iceland. Through that we were 100% independent from the weather conditions. I loved the little heater and the electricity in the car. Great. Next time I will book it again !!!

::We took a 10-day trip around the ring road in Iceland. After doing a lot of research on rental companies, we landed on Iceland Mini Campers. We liked the subtle look of them compared to a lot of the more flashy competitors. While they didn't have an electric cooler, they did provide a cooler which we filled with ice. The utensils, blankets, pillows, bedding, etc. all was clean when we first got the rental van. We got great fuel economy in the Ford Transit Connect (38.5mpg), which was great for a gasoline engine. We would highly recommend going with Iceland Mini Campers again.
