::Only spent two nights here. The food is very good buffet dinner and the same for breakfast. All the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The beds are comfortable and you have everything you need with a small ironing board, iron, TV, kettle, safe in the room (226) and a fridge. It backs into the local airport and you occasionally hear an airplane but nothing to worry about. The front rooms will be quite if you feel you need a little more quiet. I didn't have time to use the spa but it looks great. If you want to see the Northern lights they have excursions you can book at reception. I would recommend using a taxi should you need to go downtown (expensive but saves you taking your life into your own hands). Reykjavik is doing a lot of building work just now however it's needed with the lack of available homes. All in all a great hotel and a stunning country.

::We purchased a package deal from Icelandair that included this hotel. We phoned multiple times prior to our arrival to confirm our booking and to verify that our room would be ready. Each time we phoned we received different responses. Upon arriving, our room was not ready and our two exhausted children were forced to sleep on chairs in the lobby. One hotel employee attempted to find a different room but the manager would not cooperate. Don’t waste your time or money staying here. I would definitely not recommend this hotel and the management is seriously lacking.

::Great room and breakfast. Some of the reception staffs are professional while some are not. The location is not walking friendly. Took me 30 minutes to walk there from the downtown (in the strong wind)

::Hotel is absolutely amazing. Staff are lovely and helpful. The food is incredible!!! Spa is very expensive as is the restaurant. Only ate our prepaid breakfast there as $50 a head for dinner is a bit out of budget.... not close to anything in walking distance so had to preplan dinner.... given a free bus pass for the entire stay was a fantastic addition and very helpful with directions and map. Rooms are suitably spacious and bathroom is a good size. Rooms at good temperatures and beds are very comfy.... Would have liked mugs instead of throw away cups, some cutlery and plates would have been good too as well as milk. The cleaners do a fantastic job too.It exceeded expectation. THANK YOU!!! Would definitely come back!!

::Well a lovely place to be... Very sure. However not nice finding some pants & socks from the previous person in your room. Reception where unprofessional quite rude. My recommendation to the Management. Give these more training customer focused. However the Breakfast was amazing & so are the Staff working in there. Brings the idea to mind the Reception team including their Manager can learn alot from them.
