  Highly recommended place to have a dinner or lunch with incredible view. Its close to the blue lagoon. You can even get pre booked ticket for the blue lagoon. The food was great but its expensive.

  blueLagoon に併設されたレストランで溶岩のインテリアが特徴的です。我々が選んだ3コースディナーでは手長エビのスープ、タラのグリル、フォンダンショコラなどが楽しめます。味は普通ですがコストパフォーマンスは良いと思います。他にはラムチョップが出るアイスランディックメニューやベジタリアンメニューなどもありました。客の半分はbluelagoon入場券に付いている無料のシャンパンを飲みにきた方々で回転は速いです。2ヶ月前に予約して行きましたがオフシーズンの1月に行ったせいか夜6時でも結構空いていました。

  Eat in your robes at a fine dining restaurant! How awesome is that?!? Langoustine soup was delicious. Lamb dish was okay. Service was great.

  I had a truly fantastic meal at Lava. Put another way, I ate at Dill the night before and Lava MIGHT have been better. I had the tasting menu and really enjoyed it. I'm gluten free and they were super accommodating, even bringing me delicious GF bread. I read the reviews and wasn't sure what to believe / felt like the restaurant could be a tourist trap, but am really glad I ate here. Re pricing, in my view the tasting menu ($100/pp) was worth it. Definitely looking at the regular menu you get a bit of sticker shock ($60 for entrees), but if you've eaten out in NYC/London/Tokyo/name any other expensive city, you're used to the prices, and you do actually get good value.
