::Jón Gnarr moved this sculpture to the entrance to city parliament to recognise the civil servants who work there.

::Our guide explained that the statue is not only to the silent bureaucrat but to all the silent professions which don't get enough recognition like teachers too.
Clara Wee
::Cute statue but why celebrate the bureaucrat?
Karan Gosher
::Nice place to chill and hang around near the city centre of Reykjavik
Fred Finney
::This sculpture represents an anonymous government bureaucrat, with brief case in hand, scurrying to or from work. Have to say this statue is amusing and thought provoking. In this case the anonymous aspect is represented by an amorphous thick blocky shape left above the brief case carrying torso. The lake side setting is impressive and a nice place to watch the ducks and other birds.
