  Our first eatery experience on arrival in Iceland. Trekking the streets around our accommodation at Hotel Lotus, we found the Orange Cafe as if appearing as an oasis in a snowy desert. Warm and inviting inside, it wasn't really marketing itself as an evening dining experience, but with a helpful staff member accommodating our lack of Icelandic, we finally settled on couple of what we would call toasted bread sandwiches, which were delicious with fresh and wholesome and tasty ingredients. As more of a lunch cafe, are looking to return at an earlier hour for a lunch, the soups sound delicious.
