::Expensive! We found some identical souvenirs in the capital at half the price! Nice book store with a cafe. They also have some beautiful books in English and not all are about Iceland. You can also find souvenirs here although we found them to be expensive like everything here 😂

::Lovely old fashioned (in attitude, not decor) bookstore in Akureyri - knowledgeable staff, great range of books in English and Icelandic (and German and French), good coffee and even acceptable tourist tat. And I got a terrific book as a present.
