  Sells not only books but also a huge selection of local and foreign magazines and souvenirs. Of course, prices are astronomical as is the norm here. They have a huge selection of books by Icelandic authors.

  I'm from Australia where bookshops are a dying breed. It was nice to see this chain of bookshops doing brisk business in Iceland. Great place to escape the cold, browse through a wealth of books in both English and Icelandic and also get a coffee.
