::Arrived in Reykjavik, Iceland just as a snowstorm was approaching and before our check-in time. We contacted the staff and headed for the cottage. Due to the storm & poor visibility, the 15 minute drive took 90 minutes. We arrived just after 11am but the people due to vacate were still in it. We waited for a few minutes a they vacated just before 12pm. The staff quickly cleared up and allowed us in. Great work. 💥💥💥💥💥

::Friendly staff. Nice and kinda secluded (group of cottages nearby, but it's quiet). Almost at the beach, which means little light pollution, but lots of wind. Cottage is a bit worn, but not falling apart. Got a hottub. Spectacular to sit in the hot water while it's below freezing, staring at the night sky.
