  One of the best places we stayed on our trip around Iceland. Small but nice room. Everything is lovely prepared in the house. Very very nice and good service. Good recommendations for going out for dinner. We booked the wrong day but it was easy to change it at the reception. For the price (73€) it was one of the cheapest houses we stayed and it was much better than the others. The breakfast was really really good as well. Staying in their hot pot in the night with all the snow around and the moonlight behind the clouds was just amazing!

  Stayed here for one night as part of our road trip to Reykjavik. A step up from our previous hostels, this is a good sized property with great views, an honesty bar, hot tub, restaurant. We’ve come out of season so it’s just breakfast. We popped back into akureyri for our evening meal. Free tea / coffee, dressing gowns in our room for the hot tub, English spoken by the receptionist.
