::Der Lava Tunnel ist cool. Die Eintrittspreise sind allerdings nicht wirklich gerechtfertigt. Das ist einfach zu teuer, sorry. Von November bis Mai sind im Tunnel auch bezaubernde stehende Eis Zapfen zu finden. Der Tunnel in der Standard Tour selbst ist ca. 350 m lang, es gibt erweiterte Touren, die dann ein paar Kilometer länger sind. Der Tunnel selbst wird von einem sehr sympathischen Guide erklärt. Er weist auf alle möglichen Strukturen und Farben hin, und erklärt ein bisschen was zu Lava und Formen.

::Great, but I thought that this went into the actual volcano itself. It is just the tunnel. Cool though. They turn out the lights. A bit pricy for what it is, but hey, it's Iceland

::It was awesome to visite this cave. There is beautiful color and there is ice stalagmite. It was the best activity that we made in Iceland.

::Easy 1 hour standard tour. Had small children accompanying us on tour (not ours) and they seemed fine. Was an absolutely unreal experience, guides were very friendly and helpful. About a 45 minute drive from downtown Reykjavik.
