  Fantastic place! Super clean with great facilities and kitchen to make and prepare your own food. Maksim, the owner is a really lovely person and welcoming to his guests. Area is quite upmarket and within a 10 minute leisurely stroll into the Old Town and majority of pick up points with all tour operators. I booked again and confidently made recommendations to friends and family. 🤗🤗🤗

  Estancia curiosa. Todo super limpio y desinfectado....impecable. El baño es compartido...no me gustan esas cosas pero tengo que decir que este sitio me cayó la boca. Tres baños completos en toda la casa. Los tres con secador de pelo bueno, planchas, gel, champú, acondicionador. Toallas limpias en la habitación. Esta muy espaciosa y con un pequeño aseo. La cocina genial....sin problema para hacer lo q quieras. No vimos al dueño en las dos noche que dormimos en Rekiavik.... Nos dejo la llave de la habitación con la cuenta en un papel pegado a la puerta. Todo siempre abierto. Cero problema de robo. Genial ...

  Highly, highly recommended. Great. reasonable place to stay in one of the world's most expensive places to stay! The rooms are comfortable, the beds were excellent, the pillows really nice and soft. It is a guest house with bathrooms and showers separate (2 in the basement and one upstairs), as well as a complete kitchen. Each unit has a box in the fridge for personal stuff. Wifi was fast! No TVs in the house at all, but hey, who comes to Rejkavik to watch TV in the middle of so much natural beauty? One of the key for a great inn is location: Arcturus has that! You can take a right out of the house and then another right to hit the harbour in less than 5 minutes (unless you are really a slow walker), take a left from the house, head straight and walk past a beautiful old cemetery before taking another left and end up in town. Parking on the street if you have wheels... We arrived at 05:20 in the morning (meh) and were able to drop off our luggage there, after having checked with the management. We got an email telling us when the room was free (an hour earlier than normal) and our luggage was in the room when we arrived. Clean, quiet on a residential street, the only "downside" was that only one set of people can cook at the same time (it's a regular kitchen, after all), but there is a supply of basics (tea, coffee, etc) to help offset this. There is also limited space outside of your room for any sort of work you might have to do, limited to a couple of bar stools in the kitchen. But we never saw this as a problem, since we were out having too much fun in fabulous Iceland instead.
