::When I asked for spicy food, there was just too much red chilli powder! This made me.sneeze all the way through my dinner. Other than that, the food was pretty yum!

::The family that runs this started it up in June 2007 (10 years as of writing this!) and I've stopped by here each time I've come through Akureyri. It's a welcome dose of spices in a nation that's otherwise somewhat lacking in it. While the menu is somewhat limited, the food is excellent and when the menu says it's hot is means it (I say this as someone who loves and craves spicy food). The staff are delightfully friendly and the architecture of the building itself is impossible to miss. Prices are very reasonable (dare I say that as far as Iceland goes: they might qualify as cheap).
