Those who love wondering around...relaxing along the seaside and discover Reykjavik "their own way" I highly recommend this just amazing walkway around in Reykjavik city. There are cafés like "Perlan" rooftop, "Nauthóll" Nauthólsvík...then long walk towards western peak of "Seltjarnarness" and "Grotta" nautical signal tower (farest west of the capital city) with frre fresh pure water distributes on the way. Then you start following the walking path from far west peak along "Eiðisgrandi" towards north east and the city's harbor area where you find "Retro Cafe" and/or "Kaffivagninn" Cafe restaurant...Marine Museum..the old port and then towards "Harpa" and onwards along "Promenade des Esprits Libres" or Walkway of the Free Spirits towards East by northern seaside of Reykjavik city...passsing "Solfar" (the Sun Voyager) sculture...turning right from the shore towards south and Kringlan Mall. One important thing to know: No need to buy bottled drinking water in Iceland. Icelanders never do that as our 100% pure natural drinking water resources are filtered naturally through massive natural layers. Therefore tap water in Reykjavik city is EXCELLENT and better if anything than the bottled one...the latter only produced for tourists who are used to BUY drinking water in their countries as pure natural one like ours does not exist. It's only commerce that started with increased tourism in Iceland from 2010. Don't be fooled...be like us while staying here: Only drink Icelandic tap water for free everywhere! We also wash our cars with it it's so abundant thanks to our immense pure natural water resources ❤️
