  Made by hands and freshly baked every day. Hringbraut location has been there since the house was built in 1948.

  Excellent bakery. They have sandwiches, pastries (cookies, crossaints, donuts), and bread that they'll slice on request. The prices are surprisingly low for Reykjavik; this might be a local secret. If you're visiting the National Museum of Iceland, this place is a block away and definitely worth the quick walk!

  This bakery chain had a few more locations throughout the city, now it's really limited. Hit and miss, mostly. Some items are good, while I'm not a big fan of their pastries. -- "Mimi's Cake Tour"

  Try the blueberry muffins, great taste and texture. Bread is good too.

  Eine sehr hübsche kleine Bäckerei nahe der Universität. Die Preise sind für isländische Verhältnisse ok und die Produkte sind sehr lecker.
