::Absolute delight. I had a nice quiet dinner here after swimming at the nearby pool. They have an English version of the menu if you ask. The fish of the day was perfectly prepared, not overcooked, with a rich creamy sauce and an assortment of vegetables. It was like a home cooked meal. Just the type of place you want to find after many days of travel. I will visit here again on my next trip to Iceland.

::Wonderfully hip cafe/shop with very friendly, unpretentious staff. The food was excellent across the board, particularly the sous vide fish of the day on barley with mushrooms & pak choi and the gently smoked reindeer burger. And the cinnamon buns are as good as everyone says!

::Great food and drinks! Was a bit hesitant about eating inside a 'shop', but it had a great and cosy atmosphere! Finished our meal with some great sweets, definitely recommend this place!

::The first place we ate in Iceland and it was amazing. Really set the tone for the rest of our trip. I had pork shoulder with a cream sauce that was to die for. Every was tender, flavorful and well-seasoned. Plus, it had a lot of really neat pasta, sauces and jams from Italy and England if you are staying in an AirBnB and planning to do your own cooking. Highly worth a visit.
