  NEVER RENT A CAR WITH THIS COMPANY!! We booked a car 3 weeks ago. When we droped off the car, they said us that we had to pay almost 700€ for a car's damage (you can see the photo) We didn't make the damage and we picked Up the car with the damage. We had to pay because we had to go to the airport. When we arrived to Spain, I sent the evidences (photos and video) that I took before take the car in the Office the first day and the damage was there already. THEY DON'T WANT REFUND US OUR MONEY EVEN TOUGHT THE EVIDENCES. I have already called to the office and some Divy o Dinny doesn't want help us and he Talks to me contemptuously and shouting. When I said that the price for the damage was so expensive he said me: I DON'T KNOW IN YOUR COUNTRY, BUT IN MY COUNTRY THE WORK IS PAID. I don't know what I have to think about this comment. Are we slaves in my country? This is a disgrace.

  If rent a car on Iceland, Go Iceland is a very good way. Good cars, good prices, good people. 5 stars.

  We booked with this company for a 7 day winter camper rental as they offered what we needed at the best price. After reading some of the other reviews we were slightly worried but after renting with this company, would actually recommend them to those looking for an affordable and reliable camper to explore Iceland. We were met at the airport with only a slight wait (10-15 minutes). There was only a 5 minute wait at the pickup location while they finished another customer (less than most brand name airport counters) and there is free coffee while you wait. The new location is co-located with other rental agencies so be sure to wait near the Go Iceland desk (closest to the door). The representative showed us the vehicle and how to use it's features, they spent as much time as we wanted and even pointed out the previous damages. They also encouraged us to take photos of the vehicle and to let them know if we found any further damage. The camper was a good setup and the bed was surprisingly comfortable (we rented the 2 person Renault Kangoo). The storage space is all underneath the bed which is at times inconvenient but really a necessity in order to have a large comfortable bed in this size vehicle. The camper had a heater which worked almost too well and 2xUSB charging ports which were connected to a separate battery which was nice since we could run them as often as we liked in the winter without fear of not being able to start the van in the morning. The van came with studded winter tires which gave us great handling even in some significant snow, ice, and extreme wind (I still would not endorse driving in these conditions unless you are used to and comfortable with winter/snow driving). The only issue we ever had with the camper was the fuel gauge would not always display full even after we had filled it but we have had previous issues with this driving diesel vans and this seems to be a manufacturer issue more than with the actual rental company. There are plenty of gas stations and the camper had great range on a full tank so we refilled the tank every 500-600km and never had any issues. Upon return the van was extremely dirty from 7 days of winter driving in Iceland and we had no issues what so ever. The representative inspected the vehicle in 1-2 minutes and we were on our way back to the airport! All in all we had no complaints and thoroughly enjoyed our time driving around Iceland. We were a little sad to say goodbye to Iceland and our camper home. This company seems very fair and I would definitely give them my business again. I will add that we purchased the additional insurance including gravel protection and were extremely glad that we did. We did not receive any significant damage to the vehicle but all too often were passed on the ring road by vehicles speeding who will cut you off and kick up rocks. Having the GP insurance made us all the more comfortable as we enjoyed the beauty of Iceland!

  Visto il prezzo conveniente del noleggio avevo acquistato il pacchetto assicurativo proposto per coprire ogni tipo di danno con franchigia a 5000 Kr. Peccato poi scoprire che un danno alla portiera causato dal vento e un regalo trovato in un parcheggio al paraurti posteriore costituivano 2 sinistri e che la franchigia vada moltiplicata per 2... 10.000Kr in fumo e mai più con questa compagnia... (La Kasko completa a quanto ho capito non viene proprio offerta...)

  We rented a camper van in November 2017. Just a small camper car for 2 as you can see on the pictures. Experience with Go Iceland / Rent.is was only good. Everything went really smooth in their office. We had only one small problem, with card terminal, but it was solved in couple of minutes. They even gave us ride from and to airport, as their new office is not directly on the airport. Really great services. So in one world, it was just a great! We really enjoy amazing Iceland with Rent.is / Go Iceland!
