  Today might have just won the title of 'best day of my life'.....I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to fly with Atlantsflug / Flightseeing on their 'Landmannalaugar and surroundings' tour. We woke up on a day where the light was breaking through the fog and snow clouds to reveal a winter wonderland of fresh snowfall. After a gentle and picturesque drive to Reykjavik we were met by our pilots at the airport and welcomed on board. One thing I loved about the Cessna that we flew in was the window opened, so I was able to shoot uninterrupted by glass! We took off from the heart of the city and quickly got out to the wilderness! The views wrapped around the plane from every angle and it is hard to describe how freeing and relaxing the whole experience felt! For now, I am going to share some highlights from the flight and can't wait to share more soon! I can't thank Flightseeing enough for this amazing experience and would say anyone travelling to Iceland should make it a priority to include a flight as part of their itinerary! As you can see, it is simply amazing!!! Thank you, thank you thank you!!! And thank you a million times over!!
