  The receptionist was a crook! She scared us to death with "volcanic particles" that can scratch the paint on the car which could lead to a charge up to 20,000 euros. That is bull because even under extreme windy weather conditions on the south coast, it did nothing to our car! Plus she gave us incorrect insurance fees where not only it was incorrect in the currency we wanted to pay but also we were eventually charged in Icelandic Krona, which cost us even more. What is also outstanding is that the insurance fees were more than the initial price we paid for the car. I definitely do NOT recommend renting a car with them! Iceland is expensive enough so keep your money away from them!

  Staff were polite and helpful. We rented a 4x4 for our week in Iceland. Vehicle (manual shift) was reliable, had studded tires, and got us all around just fine. However one headlight and one tail light were out, one brake light was out, and there was no windshield wiper fluid. Thankfully, none of this was a problem during our trip and we were given a small discount on the final rental price when we returned the vehicle. Oh, and I thought the horn didn't work until I learned that it's a button on the tip of the turn signal lever and not on the front of the steering wheel as I'm used to.

  I was worried after reading all the bad reviews. Especially also after witnessing the terrible pick up process (rated that at the pich up counter). But the drop off went really well for us: Were done after 10 min, friendly staff and we even had a shuttle bus.

  Finger weg! Reinge Abzocke! Lieber bei einem anderen Mietwagenanbieter mieten. Bei Avis / Budget wird einem das doppelte abgebucht, dieses muss man sich dann per Gericht zurückfordern.

  Nieczynne w nocy. Po przylocie pomimo opłaconego auta musialem wynająć inne w innej wyporzyczalni ponieważ ta była zamknięta!
