  Totale Abzocke! finger weg! Haben ein Auto von Deutschland aus angemietet und nur 45€ für 2 Tage bezahlt was super ist. Das böse Erwachen kommt dann mit der nächsten Kreditkartenabrechnung. Man berechnet für die Haftpflich und unbegrenzte Kilometer die bereits in den 45€enthalten waren nochmals 90€!!! Bei Gabe der der Unterschrift wurde im gebrochenen Englisch erklärt das es sich bei diesen Kosten um eine Art Kaution handelt die man dann zurück erhält. Dem ist nicht so! der Kundenservice im Nachgang ist auch das allerletzte! keine Klärung für 2Wochen. mit günstigen Preisen locken sie und zocken dann unverschämt ab..die dummen Touristen kommen ja eh nich so schnell wieder wenn sie den Fehler bemerken nie wieder Avis/budget!!!!

  I can't rate these guys too lowly as I didn't have any problems with them. However they did try to scare/guilt me into buying their additional insurance, they breakdown assistance (which I did purchase) and their natural damage insurance. If I didn't purchase this (which I didn't) I could be liable for the full price of the car if some kind of natural elements such as wind and stones caused a lot of damage. Also they tried to get me to buy their bring the car back empty deal which means you pay for a full tank of fuel regardless of how empty the car is when you bring it back. Over all not very pleased really and think I'll stay away from budget in the future. Also their cars are stored out sides in the wind and rain and sleet so it's very difficult to try and take pictures of damage or do a proper inspection of the car when you pick it up. There was even a dead mouse sitting right by the car when I got to it.

  I had rent a car and everything went well except the staff weren’t nice to deal with customer and did not explain everything in details. They also try to force us to pay for full protection which we already paid.

  I had a good experience with this car rental company despite the negative comments I read. The only negative aspect is the slow customer service when you pick up your car. Overall however, I recommend this company as an affordable option if you are a tourist and want a car for 5-6 days in Iceland.

  Definitively the worst experience i ever had in renting a car ... The car in itself was fine ( except few trash leftover from the previous renter and a lack of windshield liquids ) The biggest issue with this company is their customer support and their mentality to try to steal as much money as they can from their customer .. We agreed with the guy at the counter for an extra insurance under his advices ( would probably have taken one due to icelandic known wheather :) ) but when we got charged the price was much higher than what was agreed verbally ... I did the mistake to trust the clerks there .. When complaining to their customer support , there was no discussion,it took times to get an answer which was more or less ' you signed you paid , the matter is close for us' Will never ever rent a car with that company and strongly unadvice you to do so ... If you still do it: Crosscheck multiple times ( and convert the cutrency yourself don t trust them !! ) the rates Beware that their extra insurance full coverage doesn t cover all Beware that they will charge you a 'reasonable' amount in case they need to give out your address to police due to a fine ( more than 40 euros ... ) Beware to check IN DETAILS .the car you rent ( and when you pick it up ask the counter guy to come with you !! ) else you will regret it ..
